Happy New Year
In this new year of 2020, we wish all of our Full Circle members great warmth, health and strength in your lives as they unfold in a new decade. May the beauty of ordinary experiences of food and gathering continue to become extraordinary in the field, in your home, or in the simple act of donating your box.
We hope that the quiet beauty and recognition of the many resources, protected and pure, fill your year with joy!
As always, we will continue to grow as your farmers in awareness of the many changing demands environmentally, and respect the true ecosystems in the wild and in our cultivation. We hope that many of you will come and visit us out in the fields, get your hands dirty, play in the open spaces and harvest some veggies to enjoy in your homes.
We encourage you, our members, to take time in customizing your boxes and return to the flavors and heirloom varieties that challenge our regular purchase of commodity items like strawberries and tomatoes. This year, let’s all try hard to free ourselves from the fast-paced lifestyle and find the slower, more nostalgic veggies. Although they may seem a bit more complex, they will reward us with history and culture from days old, and nurture us to make long-sustaining gifts for future generations.
From all of us on Griffin Creek, wishing you a bountiful New Year!
